Something terrible happened last week.
My favorite roommate went on a vacation. When he returned he informed me that he had signed a lease on an apartment out of town. I guess he really liked that vacation spot.

That leaves me with the other roommate that I'm not particularly fond of. He mentioned to me the other day that he would get one of his friends to move into the other room.
I am not fond of that idea.
Now don't get me wrong, if it weren't for the living situation I would probably get along with that guy fairly well. He's a smart guy that likes to have fun. Sometimes he takes things too far but for the most part he's generally an okay sort of fella.
Except for when it comes to living together.
This guy is one of those roommates that eats your food.
He gets the house completely dirty and then doesn't clean up after himself.
He actually threw out some of my pots and pans because they were in his way instead of putting them in a drawer.
I came home today with a bundle of chicken under my arm. I was looking forward to baking it for a late lunch. It had been a particularly hectic day at the restaurant.
My feet hurt. My legs hurt. My back hurts.
My pan was in the sink having apparently been used, and the dish washing soap was completely empty. I am talking about lid unscrewed, turned upside down, completely gone. It was half full when I left yesterday.
This is not community soap. Nothing we have is community. He just used half a bottle of my dishwasher soap for reasons unknown and then did not replace it or leave me any indication that I needed to buy more.
Sometimes when I post about roommates people suggest that I should look for a new place. It's a good idea, and one that I have been involved with. Unfortunately, while the cryptocurrency world falls so do my reserve funds.
Until things bottom out and start rising again I'm probably just going to have to deal with this. I did text my landlord suggesting that we all have a talk but I know it's not going to do any good.
The most likely scenario is that this roommate will get a friend to move into the available room and that friend will be just as annoying as the current roommate making my life completely unbearable.
Nevertheless, I will stick it out with the hopes that the crypto world will come back to life bringing with it my hopes and dreams.
There's nothing more difficult than dealing with a troubling person that lives in your very house because you cannot get away from them nor can you protect your assets.
Dealing with an inconsiderate roommate....
.... is not fun in any way shape or form.
I have just two words for you, my friend - lockable cupboards! Seriously though, I am sooo glad my days of flatmates are over. I've had great flatmates and terrible ones.
I have been putting locks in various places but certain things like the refrigerator turn out to be an issue. I'm definitely looking forward to getting my own place again soon.
I am not good with roommates nor am I a good roommate myself so I am best left alone regarding this topic.
Regarding your room mate, you either have to find ways to kick his ass or follow my example.
I doubt that this can be solved with just talking.
I usually just keep to myself here, but it can get difficult.
Understandably so.
Two people cramped up in a limited amount of space....highly unpleasant if it goes like this.
We currently have three.
Even worse!
The ghost coming out of that haunting home in the last " is that your friend ?" :-)
Anyways, I have been in the same situation many times. It is so irritating. Wish you the best and crypto market too..
No that ghost is cool. Thank you.
That ghost is scary. I really don't know "what is cool in him (or her):-}
Terrible times. Terrible.
True enough.
my room mate is lovely and quiete helpful in all matters.
That's good to hear.
Great.
