Gringo. A fantastic movie that you should not miss out on.

If there's one thing that can be said about absolutely every movie on the market right now, it's that it stars Charlize Theron.

That's right, she's in every movie.... and therefore I can only assume she is the hardest working actress in Hollywood.

Of course I say that in a jovial way, but she has literally starred in the past five movies that I've seen. She is really getting out there. That's a good thing. I think she's one of the best actresses we have currently.

A lot if times when I get recommended a movie, and it has something like a 6 on IMDb, I think to myself well it's probably going to be incredibly average and quite boring.

Gringo has a 6.1.

GRINGO, a dark comedy mixed with white-knuckle action and dramatic intrigue, explores the battle of survival for businessman Harold Soyinka (David Oyelowo) when he finds himself crossing the line from law-abiding citizen to wanted criminal.

Of course, little blurbs like that don't really tell you anything about what the movie is really like.

Harold, a Nigerian man, is getting screwed over by his boss, Richard.

He finds himself in Mexico on a business deal for his company, only to realize that most people are going to be laid off within a few days.....and not only that but his wife is sleeping with his boss.

Things aren't looking good for Harold.

This is a very grim movie with a lot of gunshots. There is a lot of great comedy in it as well though.

It's kind of hard to pin down what it's really about. It's just sort of a zany adventure in which one guy has to become a sort of hero to himself.... even though he wishes life had just worked out well in the first place.

I guess you could say it's about the loser actually winning. That's a cool thing.

I didn't think I was going to like this movie as much as I did but I can honestly say it held my attention the entire time.

It's a great movie and you should definitely check it out.
