If there is anything I regret most as I grow older is that I become more risk adverse to making the big, bold moves in life. Yet, when I look back it is those moves that brought the biggest growth.
While in your mind you surely feel capable of such risks, there is also thr weight of previous successes, to make you pause and wonder "You made it here, do you tempt fate and push further?" since you have more to lose than when you are younger.
So with that, the biggest obstacle in our way, is ourselves. Over time, it is us who brings doubt where once fearlessness reigned. We have to remember that fearlessness, amongst the clouding worries and concerns that keep us in a state of "good enough", and push onward and upward.
No mattter what the age. No matter what the scenario. There is still time to go after the things that scare you and push you out of where you are comfortable to where things are unknown and scary. It is there that you will find growth. It is there that you will find yourself.
We have to build upon our successes and learn from our failures.
I am my own obstacle, and I challenge myself to get out of my own way.
