Months passed and you start to realize that humans live to thrive or thrive to live. Either way, we still have to face our own demons.
There were times we are so full of ourselves that we thought we are invincible, untouchable and winning every hurdles that come our way.
But these demons inside strive to win, knock us down when rocks are thrown in rapid pace. Momentarily, we suddenly want to shut our world and prevent outsiders to get in because such erupting emotions are too much to handle.
For years, you have built your Parthenon. You thought the foundations were as solid as you thought it could be but suddenly everything fell in just a snap of a finger. Feels like a magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit the ground zero and all you could see are debris falling and you just drop and duck your head for effin survival.
It was in this moment you felt your vulnerability. Your weakness. Your own demons.
You keep fighting just to keep yourself sane. Physical things trigger your already triggered innermost core and disturbed the demon inside. You just even felt like killing yourself or just kill the person who did it to you. but your sanity reminds you to be rational instead.
Life is complicated. These demons make it complicated.
We will never predict how life lullabies us.
At the end of the day, we must have high hopes to recover. fingerscrossed In these trying times, yourself is what you needed the most. Not going to need anyone’s preaching though---- the hell!
We all have to thrive to live despite these demons.
