Life Sharing 101: Ignition

The image above somehow inspired me today. Usually my weekends are full of procrastination and laziness. I usually sleep and watch movies the whole day even though our room is not that clean or arranged. But today, it's a productive one! I didn't have any to do list, but I accomplished a lot of things today! Well done girl! * taps myself *

I did wake up late and had my brunch around 9 am. I got no plans for today and thinking of just having a movie marathon. But I did something else. I sat down in my bed and start folding some of the clothes in the basket. Then it didn't end there, I cleaned and arranged the shelves and trays, throw away some expired medicines and unnecessary stuffs. Time to let go. 😊

I wasn't satisfied enough so I put my attention to the shoe rack and thought of putting it outside the room. And so I asked my boyfriend to transfer it outside and I'm pretty much satisfied because it means more space inside the room. I did some arrangements and put my things to its right place. The books have to be in the drawers and the wires have to be properly placed inside the cabinet. I just arrange and arrange and arrange. After that, I did the laundry. We didn't have a washing machine so I have to handwash. Playing music while doing the laundry is a must for me. 😊

Then after doing my laundry, I decided to clean the bathroom. I scrub the walls and floor of the bathroom. I cleaned the toilet too. Phew. I'm full of sweat, dust and dirt. It's time to take a bath. And so I did take my bath and had some dinner.

While having my dinner, I thought of sharing my productive day to you. That's why I don't really have a before and after photo of my room. I know it wasn't that much but what I want to share to you is that,

We only need to start the ignition to make the car run. Sometimes we only need a little fire to burn a house.

Our life is like that car. If we don't start it up, it won't run and go where it needs to be. And our to do list is like the house, we need a little effort or fire to do the small things first and eventually we'll do the next things to be done. 😊 So as what Dawson Trotman said,

"The greatest amount of wasted time is the time not getting started."

It was a productive day for me and I hope to keep this up! So let's call it a day guys! Good night! 😘
