In The Blink Of An Eye, Your Life Could Change

This is a great example of how life can change at any moment. These pictures were taken maybe two minutes apart. They look like different sunsets. I remember taking these & I just couldn't believe how entirely different the sky looked from one minute to the next. It was one of those "ah-ha!" moments where I realized that life is very similar. When my mom told me she had cancer, I felt my life shift into a whole different way than what I have envisioned it would look like growing up. When I moved to the prairies, my life changed... I no longer felt alone. When that day happened, where I finally realized that I was in love with my now husband. When we got married. When I gave birth to our first child. And then to our second.

I think that's probably why I've learnt to not really have super laid out plans for everything, because things could change, life happens & in reality things likely will change around on you in the blink of an eye & then you'll have to make new plans. I'm not trying to say you should just wing it at life either, I think that's missing the point. Make plans, but don't worship those plans & know they could change... be open to that change.
