Agreed man! Anytime I make a mistake I find it only causes more damage to try and delay owning up to it. If I reply to someone with a stressed out emotional response and say something I don't mean, I generally realize it quickly and feel pretty stupid, but I feel instantly better when I go up to the person I was talking to and apologize for the way I responded and give them the response they should have received in the first place!
