The theme may sound repetitive, perhaps nostalgic, but even referring to a not too distant past is still present in the memory, and current events of the protagonists of this tragic and beautiful history of Venezuela.
I say tragic because Venezuelans have gone on a journey of opportunities and mistakes that have caused one of the hardest circumstances in which the economy has collapsed, to the point of having to buy and not find something, or not having with that to buy.
In our history there have been illustrious and wise Venezuelans, but the great majority of the people have always been kept ignorant. When the duty was to educate the people as a whole, only a part of them (a minority) had access to education. It was never possible to eradicate the informal economy from the streets.
However, in the thoughts of humble families there was always the dream of making their children as illustrious and brilliant as those that appeared on the front pages of newspapers.
Here begins the beauty of the situation. Our reality may look dark, but it is one of the greatest opportunities to change this scenario. We hear in the news how Venezuelan emigrants succeed in other countries, that is, we have talents. It is also comforting to hear that other countries know about our hugs, greetings, love, hopes in the future, music, culture.
Why is it like that?
Because Venezuela is like this
Feeling proud of Venezuela and the Venezuelans I say goodbye.
Greetings from Venezuela.
