Tire. Part 1. Date of Expiry

in #life7 years ago

In this post I want to give you some tips and recommendations on car tires, this in order to know a little of its use, function, increase its life and the safety of people.
Most of us operate motor vehicles on a daily basis and almost never pay attention to one of the most vital parts of the vehicle such as tires.

Unfortunately, very few of us change this bad habit until it is too late.
Did you know that the tires expire 4 years after the date of manufacture and this date is stamped on one side of the tire?

It is very easy to find out what is the expiration date of a tire, if you check the side of it you will find a 4-digit number stamped, this indicates the week and year in which it was manufactured, the expiration date will be 4 years later .

This number indicates that the tire was manufactured in the 7th. Week of 2007 or what is the same February 2007, that would put the expiration date in February 2011!

If we use expired tires, it is possible that these will burst and the result can be a very serious accident even fatal, it would be very good practice to check our tires to verify that they have not passed their expiration date.
