I saw him shuggle, I knew he needed help.
I smiled, looked at myself in my phone's mirror and began cat walking to meet with him.
This was my opportunity to shoot my shot, I wasn't gonna take chances.

Who in her right senses would want to miss this opportunity to have a talk with him.
He was talk, dark and handsome, the way he bit his lips anytime he encountered issues with the router made me want to double my steps and give him a helping hand.

"Hello, I see you have a problem there." I said, immediately I got to him,
He looked at me with a frown and said, "Nope, I've got everything under control, thanks for your help, but it's not needed".

I felt I had just been given a slap on my face.
All of a sudden, I felt naked.
Well, they said we should never give up yeah?
So I summoned courage and probed further.

"You know, if you're stuck, you can actually talk to me, I can help you with it...."
"Young woman, I clearly said I don't need your help, can't you see I'm fixing it myself"
"But you're not making any headway", I said.
" Yes, that's why I'm not giving up. Was it not Thomas Edison who failed a couple of gazillion times before he was able to make the light bulb? If I am failing consistently at something, it only means that my breakthrough is near. Now, if you will excuse me, I need to get back to work". He abruptly said and turned his back on me.

I felt humiliated.
I was only trying to help, well, I also wanted to shoot my shot too but damn, not with a dumb guy.

I simply walked away as briskly as I could from the scene.

It is foolishness to repeatedly do something the same way and expect a different result.

It is not enough to fail and not learn anything from the fall.

It would be a shame and "a waste of failure" not to learn anything from your previous mistake.

Your failure is only an avenue to try something different and not make the same mistake.

What did you do wrong that should be corrected this coming month?

Don't go into February making the same mistakes you made in January.
