I think the card itself is a bank account card, the app allows you to deposit BTC, XRP & LTC. You can then transfer them to your card.
I used it in store because they do cryptoback - a rewards type money back thing of 0.5% on your purchases :0)
Hopefully they don't charge a lot to get/buy a card, thanks for the info
