In My Head: Size Does Matter!!

It really does!! Size matters! Isn’t that why the whale wars at the moment consume most of us, a little concerned that if it keeps going it will affect this platform that we have come to love?

Isn’t this why, athletes who are taller and bigger are generally faster and stronger? I see this at almost every swim meet and sporting event.

Morbid alert!! I apologise, please don’t take offence🙏🏿 ... just my thoughts - Isn’t this why when MH370 disappeared, the whole country and world went into mourning. We at the radio station were on standby 24/7, getting in touch with anybody and everybody who could feed us information as the nation waited for updates and I wondered why not for those lost at smaller means of transportation and the like.

On a much lighter note👇🏿

How about in the love arena? Isn’t this why there are a gazillion polls and articles on this very subject? The 6 million dollar question.

And if it is not your physical built that’s been blessed.... there is still the size of your wallet, the size of your heart, the size of your willpower- For example:

👉🏿 Mohd Azizulhasni Awang aka The Pocket Rocketman. The nickname because at 5’6”, he is the first Malaysian to win a medal at the Rio Olympics for cycling, a sport that’s dominated by Europeans and Australians thanks to the size of his determination.
👉🏿 We all know the story of David and Goliath ... in this case it was the size of David’s belief in God.
👉🏿 Let’s pick a movie...127 hours based on true events that happened to mountain climber Aron Ralston. In his case it was size of his survival instinct.

You get the picture. So that brings me to why I was over the moon this morning! I did a double take not believing my eyes!! I grew to (49)!!! Whooohoooo! Yes I am still a minnow and still learning how to swim, not even in the open waters yet 😅 but I am doing the happy dance for my small win because I was stuck at (48) for so long. But I am determined and I hope the size of my determination will power through.

So to all fellow minnows out there, the ones who have negative thoughts from within and negative comments from without.... let’s keep going and all the best!
