One technique I utilize sometime is called, "Kaizen" It's the Japanese art of selectively procrastinating or dealing with tasks in a way where we only deal with them in manageable chunks so we don't get overwhelmed. I've found it really helpful. I also find it helps to not get too discouraged when you find yourself repeatedly distracted! It's part of nature to be procrastinate and be distracted. It's all just about utilizing that energy in a constructive way!
