20 minutes a day to Organise my overactive brain with Mindfulness Meditation.

Its been a few weeks since I Meditated, I was Trying to include Mindfulness Meditation into my daily routine and was managing OK until the last few weeks I have forgot. I could slap myself as It really helps me focus my brain.

MY BRAIN BEFORE MEDITATION

I meditate for around 20 minutes, just by lying back in a quiet place closing my eyes and counting my breathing and not focusing on anything. If your mind wanders then you go back to your breathing and start counting again. Counting your inhale then exhale helps you to relax your body and mind.

There is so much going on in my brain, I can't finish a job before I start the next. But after meditating I feel as if everything has been put in its place, I can see what needs doing more clearly. It files everything in its right box. It calms me down so I can think straight.

I can operate better when my mind is clearer, i can deal with tasks that would usually have me beaten. I have a few times fallen a sleep whilst meditating, I must admit I always sleep better then when I wake up I always feel as if I have had a good sleep even if its only been for 20 minutes.

I am now going to try harder to make sure I get at least 20 minutes to myself, the best time for me is after I have showered as the hot water helps my pain. I am going to have to have more routine to my day instead of sleeping for most of it.

I need to start to mediate too. I use to and it did make my head clearer.

I wish it would make me remember as i keep forgetting :)

How can i have a nana nap when I'm not a nana, really how cruel to rub it in :( hehe
