A proud mum watching my baby drive away.

in #life7 years ago

Being a mother is a wonderful job especially when your watching your child grow and progress, First steps, first words makes you feel very proud. That doesn't change as they get older.

My youngest has always wanted to drive, as little as 3 she loved to sit in the driving seat pretending she was driving the car, now she is 19 she is taking lessons and doing really well. Once she has passed her test she will be able to take me out instead of relying on my hubby all the time.

She had her driving lesson today, I love to go watch her drive away as it makes me smile, my baby driving a car, mind makes me feel really old too

Here's my proud moment watching my youngest drive away for her 2 hour lesson.

I will have my very own private Chauffeur very soon, lol

Thank you @son-of-satire

Sweet tale. Can appreciate HOW u feel. It is quite a Rite of Passage, learning how to drive.

Once upon a time, I was a teacher .

Pls keep in mind that paying for Advanced Driving lessons can be a good idea, & one that'll give you "peace of mind" and Keep her safe.

Up to you - I just cared enough to mention it

Thank you, a fantastic mention, I will look into them :)

I fear the day my kid starts to drive.
I even dislike she driving a bike lol.
Well, she is still little, I will have time to adjust.

Enjoy every minute, they grow far to quickly :)

What a wonderful day for you both. Double congratulations.

Thank you :)

Awww best of luck to her on her new driving adventures!

Thank you :)

Congrats!:) Slowly, but confident;)

Exactly, she will get there :)

What it's all about.. It is a beautiful moment also :D

It sure is :)

They grow up so fast it is terrifying.

I wouldn't mind but do we have to grow as fast too

Kids grow up so fast. I understand how you feel. You're there for every milestone, every achievement and you cringe a bit for every fumble. But soon they leave and have offspring of their own and you get to be doting Grandma! Even better!

I would be so lucky, I have 2 girls oldest 25 not a chance of having children my youngest 19 totally against it too :(

Just haven't found the right incentive...

It is good to see children grow and enjoy their achievements at every step.
Thank you very much dear friend @ karenb54 for sharing these beautiful moments of your life
I wish you a happy rest

And you dear friend :)
