Yay 1 more day and the weekend is here. I've had another day in the house apart from a little trip to the post box, hubby drove me so I could post a letter.
On the way to the postbox I passed a few cars that are always parked next to the road. These are a big hit with Children. There are usually 4 cars parked up, the owner was working on the 4th car, this is a Scooby Doo car. The other 3 are Ghostbusters, Santa/Christmas and a Witch one.
These are driven around the town and streets depending on what time of the year it is, they also use a mega phone to shout out to the people watching. The kids love seeing the cars going around such as the Christmas car shouting Ho Ho Ho.
Its still very cold here still no snow even though the weather forecasters are still repeating themselves saying snow is on its way. I wouldn't mind if we never see snow again. There is also lots of rain on its way, that's nothing new.
Hubby and my daughter went to the shop to pick up a few things I wasn't ready to go out and couldn't be bothered to make the effort so I stayed in with my pups. Hubby also called into the pet shop to buy new fish for his smaller tank. Before he could add anymore fish to the little tank he had to sort the shark out, it was picking on all the smaller fish so he scooped it up and put it into the big tank where there are big fish that he will have to avoid plus a bigger shark that will be after him. They sre all playing nicely at the minute.
I love the sharks but they become territorial and chase everything. Hubby says when these sharks have gone he refuses to buy anymore as they fight all the time. He bought 5 Rosie Tetras, 5 Black Phantoms and a Clown Loach. His little tank is now a lot busier as the fish that are in there are always hiding.
Hubby is hinting he wants a bigger tank, his large one is 3 1/2 foot, he wants a 5 or 6 foot one which we have no room for so he's not getting one. He will need a bigger tank for his Oscars but they are growing far too quickly, he will have to give them away or he will have to clean the tank out more as they produce a lot of waste. The tank he has is big enough, we don't live in a big house so no room for anything bigger.
As for me I love the tanks the ones we have now we don't need any bigger, they are great to watch when bored, very relaxing and sometimes better than what's on TV. I often find myself ignoring the TV to watch what's going on in the tank.
That's my day, I need a shower and wash my hair for going out shopping tomorrow. Then it will be bedtime, I do love my bed.
