This stuff is the boomest cleaner. No comparison to anything I have used, ever.
It's super easy and cheap to make! This one is straight orange oil, but I'm going to show you how to mix it up and make your own faves.
6 week old Lemon cleaner ready to strain today.
Here's the only drawback.....you have to be patient. But it's so worth it. Zero chemicals and so frugal. Win win!!
First, round up a bunch of citrus (this was on discount rack...score!) Peel them. Avoid any of the fruit if possible, we are just going for peels.
***You can save peels in a bag in the freezer every time you have an orange or lemon too! When you have enough peels to fill your jar, make cleaner!
Peelin'
Add ins!!! I grabbed lavender, lemongrass and rosemary from the garden and cinnamon from the pantry.
Fill your jar 2/3 with citrus peels. I did orange rosemary, orange cinnamon and lemongrass lavender lemon. Then fill jar with white vinegar to 1" to rim of jar. Stir and seal!
Shake or open and stir every few days, then tuck in a dark cupboard and forget about it!
Ready to sit 6 weeks minium.
This is the lemon from earlier after straining.
My mini strainer. You could use cheesecloth as well.
Finished product!!
You can use a drop straight as a degreaser, mix a tbsp in a gallon of water for a spray cleaner, on wood with a higher concentration (play with ratios) or with some extra vinegar for a killer glass cleaner!
Bonus* I get to juice all these oranges now to drink! I hope you try it, and have the best day ❤
