It seems super crazy but hurricane Ophelia is heading towards Great Brittain and Ireland. This does not happen very often, because in general hurricanes need seawater with temperatures above 26 degress celsius to develop, which the northern atlantic normally does not have.
Looking at this animation from NOAA (our lifeline during stormseason in the caribbean), it seems like it is going to make landfall with still big winds there. Most likely it will produce a lot of rainfall, and the sind should decrease rapidly.
