THE ABRAHAM LINCOLN STORY .
Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809 to April 14, 1865) was the 16th president of the United States and is regarded as one of America's greatest heroes due to his role as savior of the Union and emancipator of the slaves. His rise from humble beginnings to achieving the highest office in the land is a remarkable story. He was suddenly and tragically assassinated at a time when his country needed him to complete the great task remaining before the nation. His eloquence of democracy and insistence that the Union was worth saving embody the ideals of self-government that all nations strive to achieve. Lincoln's distinctively human and humane personality and incredible impact on the nation has endowed him with an enduring legacy.
Abraham Lincoln was born in a log cabin in Hardin County, Kentucky on February 12, 1809.
It just occurred to me to go through the story of a former president of United States of America by name Abraham Lincoln. I don't know why or what am looking for in the story but as I got to it on Google and read through all his failure and how shameful I could have been if it's me then something said to me "if you are really serious about having success in your endeavour you must be ready never to be ashamed because every successful people fail one time or the other and what separate them from their colleagues is their shamelessness attitude"
This brings into remembrance the failure of some many famous men of today who struggles from one point to another but succeed at last. And even clearly to my memory is how Nigeria president Gen. Muhammadu Buhari failed in many attempts of becoming president but finally got to the position at last!
Of course many people will call him shameless person or any name but that is what gives him the opportunity to get there!
