@kaylinart I got here FIRST to Comment and I'm so Excited. I have never done it but Metal Detecting may have to become one of my New Hobbies. Full UP Vote for one of my Favorite Ladies...............
Thank you :) You should post your findings! I would love to see more metal detecting people on steemit hehe
If I get started metal detecting I will post videos of finds.
She really must have enjoyed taking these video's... I like them, Weldone @kaylinart
I was about to say didn't you have red hair? Haha then I saw it was an old photo.
You have a nice voice! :) If you enjoyed making the VLOG, you should do it more as I enjoyed it and it is more immersive and brings us closer to you. Also, before you start showing things off you could always start off with the camera pointed at you saying hello etc and then get into it, just a suggestion is all. :)
But very nice to see more of the area and pretty cool to have a metal detector, maybe you will get lucky someday ;)
Hahha Right?
Aww Thank you :) I need to get the guts to do that. I'm sooooo camera shy! Hehe :) I Hope to get lucky someday, That would be awesome! hehe. Do you metal detect at all?
You're welcome and I understand it's sometimes being courageous to do that first time on camera, but you got nothing to be shy about hehe and you will soon enough get a lot more calm when doing Vlogs. I have never done one before, but I have gone on camera and also done plenty of class presentations and worked on the nerves.
No I don't have a metal detector but there are meant to be some alright spots to look around Australia, probably all picked clean though haha. :)
Looking forward to hearing what you find, seeing you on camera soon and just how excited and happy you are to be enjoying it. Hehe
Yeah hehe I think those things just take practice. Then you see some people who can dance, Or do whatever on camera with no issues at all.
Awww That would be awesome to metal detect in Australia! You never know about them being picked clean hehe. Metal detectors can only reach so far down, And eventually new stuff comes within reach. :)
Does that mean once comfortable on camera, you are going to dance or do random things?! Hehe ;)
Definitely would be great, travelling around Australia over a few months is another thing that would be amazing to experience! Hehe.
But yes, if it isn't picked clean then there is a chance you can find something, even just a small bit of gold or other ores to experience that sort of find is worth it!
Maybe eheh XD
Wow! Right? that would be awesome! I would love to find almost anything. Coins would be a cool one! How long have you been there?
Hehe I would re-steem just for you being game enough to dance or be random on camera! :)
I have lived here all my life XD
I just love seeing the outback on drives interstate, to see the open with no buildings in sight and enjoy the beauty of it hehe.
Metal detecting is a fascinating hobby :) nice post!
Thank you :) it definitely is unique! I really like it. it's addicting.
I thought metal detecting happens in airports for security. Now, will have to check what really is all about. ;)
Thats a beautiful post as ever @kaylinart ) I was wondering if you know much about underwater metal detectors ?? I know a place near Venezuala where there be Gold, but under 7 metres of water on a reef ofcourse lol , easy upvote ! ) steem On
EEEkkk That sounds amazing! I would love to look for gold!! My metal detector that I have is waterproof! Although my headphones aren't. So I would need to spend around 200 USD for a waterproof pair.
Is that right !! I have been checking all sorts of detectors that would be suitable !! But which one do you have and which method of detection does it use as apparently in a saline enviroment there is one method which gives better results than another !! I forget the model i decided was best now sadly !! The headphones would not be a problem to get )) This is a thing i have been kicking round my head for years since an old man i met once on an anchorage told me of his little secret he had sicovered while diving for fun with one of his friends !! he siad i was a nice guy and he wanted me to know too, they fell out about this apparently !1 The other problem is its Venezuala if you get my drift, would be a total adventure for sure right now all considering lolbut its so cool you sound as excited as me about the crazy idea )) no harm in talking about it eh ?? lol
NOOOO not a cliff XD LOL
Awesome, was not expecting a vlog. I like how different the landscape is and whenever drive through those deserts I always want to get out and walk around in them, but I never know if the people will mind. Nice accent.
Right? I'm sure you'd be fine :) I feel like as long as you aren't disturbing anyones property or damaging things people won't care as much. you can always look for public land too.
Looks like it would be fun to 4 wheel there. Look forward to a video of that!
Right? I gotta get my go pro ready for it :) That might not happen until next year sadly. My dad doesn't want to bring up the four wheelers yet.
Never realized that Utah had so much desert. Only think of it for skiing and never actually been there. Looks like an outdoor paradise.
is it really hit over there on the dessert. Have never been to any dessert yet. But reqlly wanted to visit one.
it must be a really good place for camping, lots of twigs for bonfire. 😃
Heheh you should sometime! It's definitely a different experience except when it gets too hot haha.
Love the more personal blogs! :)
You Do? I'm glad :) I'm trying to mix it up with a variety.
Yea that only helps make us more creative. Love your blog. :D
Awesome vlog @kaylinart!! I can't wait to see when you guys 4wheel in that area. That will be a lot of fun I bet. I have never gone 4 wheeling , but it always looks so cool. I have only riden motorcycles in the past :)
Thanks for sharing !
Motorcycles? Thats so cool!
Thank you so much :)
Motorcycles are so much harder than four wheelers. Hahh! At least with four wheelers they stay up on their own LOL.
Utah is a mountainous region. be careful
I love metal detecting! I used to live around an area where supposedly Al Capone had buried a lot of stolen goods, and it always put wistful fantasies in my mind....

@kaylinart Utah is a very beautiful state. I lived in Salt Lake city for a little while, and loved the scenery there... Very nice vlog you have. Brings back some beautiful memories.
