πŸ’€πŸ’€Why You Need To STOP Multitasking NOW! πŸ’€πŸ’€

We often think that we can get a lot more done by multitasking, But this isn't the case at all.
We spend all day wondering why we only accomplished a couple of things on our huge to-do lists.

Multitasking Isn't What You Think It Is

Multitasking is our brains switching quickly from one task to another at a rapid pace; It's not this magical thing where we think we are doing more than one thing at once. It's not like that at all.
This exhausts our brain much faster and causes us only to do a little of each task.

We Make More Mistakes

When we multi-task we are a lot more prone to mistakes, our brain is changing tasks so quickly it can keep up with the demands that we need it to; as a result, our work is much lower quality than it could be.

It Gets Less Done

Which leaves you feeling defeated, It's hard to stay motivated when you are working your butt off but not seeing any results. By focusing on one task at a time. You'll see a difference happening.

Multitasking is BAD! We have good intentions with it, but unfortunately for many of us, it doesn't get us the results we want. Next time you want to multitask instead focus on just the one thing you need done the most.

Love this, said the chronic multitasker, who is learning about the power of focus an completion. :)

Thank you! With practice you'll achieve it.

Ditto! <3 Great post Kay! Life is all about focus. It's amazing what we can do when we do focus. Cheers!

Interesting idea) I use two ways. Sometimes I immediately finish the started project to the end. And sometimes I do several projects at once. Depending on inspiration and energy.

always follow you @kaylinart.nice to see this creative writing and post, awesome picture include this.Really good work, keep it up

I think am a victim of this, but with this piece of yours, I will try to focus on a particular thing for better results. Thank you very much for this.

This is a good reminder for me. I think I get anxiety because I have so much to do and I can't decide what's most important. So I end up trying to do everything at once. Then I get anxiety because I'm getting nothing done. I'm aware that multitasking isn't really productive but sometimes I need a reminder. Thanks!

Ooooh, great advice @kaylinart am a kind of person who loves to multitask but at the end of the day, it exhausts me so much like before it is 5 pm my brain is already tired and it just cannot take it anymore so I end up sleeping by 8 pm. Thanks for the great write up

This is exactly why I hated working in a Cubicle for and UnGrateful Employer. Nothing Worse than a Boss Riding your Ass telling you that you could get more done if you would just Multi-Task a little Better..................

I suppose our brain is just like a computer. When you try too many things at once, it crushes and you lose everything. :D
But as there are computers which can deal with it, so there are brains that can multitask with no further problems.
And as for me, I can't multitask. I'm the kind of person who gets lost in the task and avoids other things until the work is done. :D

Hii @kaylinart, i agree with you
multitasking is like chasing two rabbits at a time, both will escape.
