Merch by Amazon is a dream come true for artists, Designers, and heck. Anyone who wants to add an extra side income to their portfolio!
What Is Merch By Amazon?
Merch by Amazon Is a print on demand service similar to Redbubble, CafePress and others.
Except, theres a huge difference, AMAZON!
The massive market of Amazon combined with an easy print on demand service.
WOW! There is no beating that.
You make shirts, Amazon sells them, Amazon Ships them, Amazon gives you money. Amazon provides customer service.
Did I say that you only have to make the designs?
You Make Money!
The sad thing about most PODs. They take most of the money, and there is so much competition. You just can't seem to win. But with Amazon's massive marketplace you can make sells. And their shirts are MUCH cheaper than all of the other PODs! It's incredible.
I'm making good money using Merch. And it grows everyday. Currently, Merch is invited only. So be sure to get your application ASAP!
Do You Have To Be A Designer?
Heck no, Most simple designs sell well! And it's super easy to outsource. You also could learn the ropes using GIMP And quickie lessons on youtube.
Merch is a great way to make extra income!
Is It easy?
Like most things in life, It takes work. Although many people are making good money off organic traffic! You can slowly learn how to advertise to get more sales on your shirts overtime.
But it's another side Or main business or hussle you can build over time for an easy passive income source!
Conclusion
For those of you who haven't looked into Merch yet, Definitely, should! It's a fantastic program. Get your application in! And if you are already on POD sites like Redbubble, Then you can upload your current designs to Merch to make good money! I am in love with this program, and I would like to see fellow Steemers on it too.
IF you are already in the Merch program, Let me know :)
@lauralemons Drew me !
I'm actually enrolled in Merch by Amazon. I've been in for about 3 months now. I have 327 designs live and about 80 sells a week coming in from that. That daily cap is really killing me though! I can only upload 10 designs a day. I have 500 tier available right now, so it should take me about 18 days to fill in all of them. I'm excited to grow and I'm blogging on steemit about it as well. Glad to have found someone else in the program here. Excited to read more.
Hey Kaylin!
I hope the t-shirts are flying off the virtual shelves and all is well :)
Aww thank you so much. They are ;) especially with that prime day.

You send in a request for an invite. It's a quick and easy form. Then keep an eye out for an email. They let people into the program slowly. But I'm sure you can get in.

I do not have any art bones in my body. LOL. However, it is interesting to see how the giant of eStore operations is, for once, helping artists make money. As you say, typically the chains make a lot of money compared to the artist. Happy to see that changing@kaylinart -
I was going to post a blog but images are not working right now on Steemit. So - will hold off. I request you to check a little while later for my blog. Thanks
Cool, thank you very much for sharing this information. I have a few designs I think look good on a shirt :-)
I tried doing this in the past. Didn't work for me. I wish I can go full time online.
I will look into this. I was using printaura and society6 before that.
Thanks for sharing this with us @kaylinart.
@djynn
New to me. Will look into it. Thanks for the tip. Do you have to deliver finished product to them or just design and they will make them? Thanks
Great post! I like how you're suggesting to post your designs on other POD sites too. Smart thinking. Can't have all of your eggs in one basket!
I am already on merch by Amazon but I never started to sell because of the high cost of doing it. I don't understand why they charge $10+ LOL. Upvoted!
This is really cool. Thank you so much for the info. :)
It sounds interesting for the artists like us. I am already using amazon affiliate program and I am very satisfied by it. I will try this new program very soon when it comes to India. I will be happy if you visit my India tour post and show some love there.
