Wow what a beautiful place. So you pretty much live in an open door space? Feels like a 24-7 vacation by the beach!

We do have a studio apartment; you can kind of see it in the 'night time' photo here, but I really do spend most of my time outside. In fact, it's where I'm still sitting. I feel so very fortunate to have found this place though, especially when Brian doesn't feel well, and lays inside during the day, I can still feel fresh air and be close enough if he needs anything. This place has a full size pool too; so I can even get some exercise.
I'm with you on the snakes though!
A huge functional outdoor space is a huge bonus! I'm glad the space works for the both of you.
