Music and my Life

I tell you, to start with my story I have to refer to my grandfather, he always told his children since he was little: "Every person must have a profession in their life and be a art, a job or an office. "And that's how Kerit Roberts came to know music. My grandfather with my grandmother had 4 children, 3 of them played an instrument, my aunt Katarina played the oboe, my uncle Jhonnie played the choir, my mother played the violin and currently works as a teacher of integral education and another as a teacher. of music in the orchestral system of my country.

When I was 6 years old I started my studies in the Pre-Children's Orchestra as a second violin, I followed the path of my mother choosing this instrument. I was also the founder of the Puente Real Module, it is also in the category and theoretical classes.

Before continuing, I want to say that this is the way of music with someone very special, who is not here in my country for several reasons, who is in the country of birth of my maternal grandfather, Croatia, and then I will mention them in another publication . this story. To continue, my cousin Daniel is the person that they like, he and I are contemporaries and we grew up together, he is my companion and my friend all my childhood and my adolescence.

So, I started and started my studies at the School of Music, Miguel Ángel Espín from my home state Táchira, there are creeds between laughter and jokes, also good friends. My cousin chose the transverse flute as an instrument and continued with the violin, although he started with the cello, then when he started playing the bass and playing his favorite songs and his Ska bands, the incomparable System Of a Down among other artists. On the other hand I prefer the classic and the orchestra.

My beginnings in choral singing ... ✨

My first choir was the music school Miguel Ángel Espinel, where I played my first solo when I was still a girl. Years later, when I started university and through my brother @reinoldroberts, I met the choir of my beloved house of studies, UNET. My brother and I are part of the bass line where he plays as a baritone. I remember that day of my audition, when the director approved me and indicated that from that moment I would become a member of the chorus of the Sopranos string, as Soprano 2 or rather Mezzosoprano. Since then everything has changed and now I am very proud of my beloved UNET choir. In another post we talk more about the choir and our trips to the choral meetings.

La música es un complemento perfecto de la vida, en cualquiera de sus expresiones, per se, es un medio propicio para el cultivo tanto de las ciencias como de las otras artes, muchas de las cuales tampoco tendrían una mayor expresividad si no vinieran acompañadas de la música. Hace algunos años yo tambien formé parte del Coro Universitario Unet, Manuel Medina, su director actual fue mi compañero de filas en la época del maestro Rubén Rivas, quien además de ser un director coral casi legendario, forjó en nosotros muchas inquietudes respecto de la búsqueda de la verdad a través de la investigación y el conocimiento . De la música surge la disciplina, el sano compartir, el amor... Felicidades.

La música es la salida al estrés de la vida diaria y de la universidad. Que alegría saber que perteneciste al coro, yo tengo 6 años en el coro con Manuel Medina, yo conocí al profe Ruben también. Conociste a mi hermano @reinoldroberts ?, el si empezó con Ruben!
