Dear friends,

Hope you are fine and having a wonderful day. Today i want to tell about a splendid and unique city in the Algerian east, a city fulls of bridgies called Constantine and (قسنطينة kesentina in Arabic).

Constantine is a unique city, It is the capital of the of Algerian east and the city of "suspended bridges".  It was built on two high rocks,  Constantine contains  more than eight suspended bridges.

The establishment of Constantine is attributed to the Phoenician merchants and was later developed by the Romans. The Carthaginians called it Sarim Batim. but Its ancient name was Certa during roman era.

In Constantine there are beautiful Scenery. there are seven old bridges plus a new bridge:

1) The Bridge of Bab el-Qantara, the oldest bridge (1792). 2) Sidi Rashed bridge, the highest stone bridge in the world. 3) the bridge of Sidi Mesid (1912), its also a suspension bridge, and the highest bridge in Constantine. 4)Sheep Bridge. 5) Devil's Bridge. 6) Waterfalls Bridge. 7) Malah Sulaiman Bridge. In addition to the new bridge built in recent years, it was called the Independence Bridge or the Saleh Bay Bridge.

The bridges are very beautiful and make Constantine astonishing city . Constantine used to cross these narrow bridges along with cars to reach other parts of their city.

The city of Constantine, located in the east of Algeria, is known as the "City of the Hanging Bridges", where it came from the number of bridges connecting its sides.
The ancient city is built on a rock of hard limestone, giving it a unique view that can not be found across the world in any city. And to cross from one bank to another built throughout the ages several bridges, Constantine has more than 8 bridges, some of them crash for lack of restoration, and some are still struggling with time.
The "sand valley" passes the ancient city of Constantine and is topped by bridges at altitudes of more than 200 meters.
Constantine dominated its cultural and religious character from ancient times, and it was dedicated to the construction of mosques.

The most recent of these was the Prince Abdul Qader Al-Suhaideh Mosque, one of the largest mosques in North Africa. It is characterized by two minarets, each of which is 107 meters high and 64 meters high. The landscape of the mosque is distinguished by its magnificent architectural architecture and is one of the artifacts created by the human hand in the present age. And the completion of this design in the Andalusian Oriental style, was the fruit of cooperation between some engineers and technicians of Egyptians and Moroccans, in addition to the great contribution of Algerian engineers, technicians and workers, and the mosque can accommodate about 15 thousand worshipers.

thank you so much for sharing these information. I want to make shorter and don't mention everything. Constantine is such beautiful citye and more bigger to be shown in just one article. so I am gonna make another article about messjid Al AMir inshallah.
