Yes I agree... Too much emphasis on the "branding" of schools. Not only is it not financially fair, it's also not fair to those who don't fit the typical metrics that schools use to assess the "intellect" of students. Hiring people based solely on grades/schooling is also something that doesn't make sense to me. Raw talent and the qualities of a person should be assessed... "Is a person hard-working and determined?" Vs. "How well did a person memorize this list of useless facts and then regurgitate them onto a piece of paper?"
