This mushroom is not the kind of mushroom we normally eat, but a mushroom that can cause hallucinations. Most hallucinogenic fungi belong to the genus Psilocybin. Based on etymology, psilocybin comes from the Greek, psilo which means bald, and cybe which means head. This naming is made because the various mushroom varieties belonging to the genus psilocybe have one thing in common with the shape of the head.
Magic mushrooms can grow in any climate, in the mountains or on the beach. The place to grow may be very disgusting for most people, in cow dung or in bull feces.

These are not edibles..we have a huge variety of mushrooms but I think only a few are edible ones.

I saw a lot of them when I was young...They grow in moist dirty places esp cows dung. Be careful...
