Going Against the Grain to Push for CHANGE

Here @gianrobberts of Earth Haven is fixing a tractor that is at least 50 years old, if not older. It comes from a time when things were built to last.

Being part of a community that is testing out sustainable solutions, it is unfortunate to, time after time learn about the pervasiveness of planned obsolescence. What is especially frustrating is knowing the technology exists, yet is suppressed.

We have found many sustainable solutions to be prohibitively priced, as they are not supported by the system we live in. This is our challenge and what we are up against, among many other things. If you want to support us as we push to create a space in this world to show how life could be, please visit our patreon page at www.patreon.com/earthhaven. As a pilot project creating real change, we need to show that it is possible AND beneficial to all that partake.

Once we show this, it will be undeniable that the way we are currently living is working for only a very few, while the earth has the abundance to provide for all. A human being that is supported is one with the greater potential to change, and to influence their environment to also change. This is the ripple effect, and we would like to create a tidal wave.
