I have four amazing best friends. The four of us are already in different location. One is in Cebu City, the other is in Manila and lastly, in Texas. We are miles aways from each other but that doesn't mean our friendship will sink at the abyss.
It was hard for us to communicate regularly since we are already busy in our daily lives. Surprisingly, one best friend posted a picture on her instagram and I commented, "Where are you? Contact me right away after reading this. Let's meet pretty please?"
So she messaged me and we agreed to meet the day before her departure from Cagayan de Oro City to Cebu City. My schedule was very hectic since the first year of our project is about to end and there are tons of deadlines to meet. Luckily, we were able to pass it ahead of time.
After work, I went straight to Ianna, my best friend whom I call Bitang. We decided to eat Al-Pater, a Muslim food, with a friend chicken, lumpia shanghai and salted eggs. Then, we went to the neighbouring food store and ordered nachos, fries and shake. While waiting for the food to be served, we had a mini photoshoot as a remembrance of our quality time.
Even though we rarely communicate and see each other, the knot is still intact and truly distance is not a hindrance to our friendship.
