Confident people believe in their own abilities and do not need to trust the faith of others. See what the self-confident people are not yet doing, and decide if you are, according to the Lifehack criteria.
They are not justified. People who are assured in their abilities always assume responsibility for their actions and their consequences. That is why they are never justified and do not seek excuses to do or not do anything.
Do not be afraid to take risks. They do not let the fear of guiding them. Trusted people know that the most frightening decisions are related to the most important aspects of life.
Do not live in a fictional balloon of comfort. Self-confident people know that too long a stay in the comfort zone leads to the killing of dreams. They always strive to be at least one step outside this area because they believe that this is the only way to achieve the desired results and goals.
Do not delay. People who are totally opposed to their own capabilities know that a fulfilled plan today is better than a grand plan postponed for an indefinite future. They do not wait for the right moment or the best circumstances, but they act here and now because they are the time and the place where life is happening.
Do not succumb to the negative opinion of others. The highly confident people do not succumb to the negative feedback. They have enough friends who understand and support them as they are. Therefore, they are not interested in the opinions of others but follow their instincts and principles.
Do not judge others. They do not approve surplus drama and intolerance. They never judge people and do not hurt them.
Lack of resources does not stop them. Self-confident people do not stop for anything to achieve their goals. Even the lack of sufficient resources cannot be a reason for that. They always find a solution and often adjust everything they have at hand to their specific needs.
They are not compared to the achievements of others. For them, there is only one type of competition - the one with which they were the previous day. Everyone has a unique story, and comparing with others is meaningless.
Do not feel the need to justify the expectations of others. Confident people do not seek to please others. They focus on the quality of their relationships with them, not on their quantity.
They do not need constant comfort. People who believe in their own strength do not want anyone to hold them all the time. They know that life is not always fair, but they try to control the things they can because it is the only way to get the most positive out of the situation.
They do not avoid life truths. They resist problems with their raised head. Instead of pretending that the awkward moments do not exist, confident people face them and resolve them once and for all.
Temporary success does not deny them the pursuit of their dreams. Fallen once, they face themselves again because they know that this is the normal course of life, and each failure brings them closer to the desired outcome.
They do not need anyone's permission to act. Confident people do not hesitate. Every day they repeat "If I do not, then who?".
Do not trust blindly anything they hear or read. Self-confident people question almost everything they hear or read somewhere. They rethink it and break it through the perspective of its own knowledge. For them, the most effective strategy is to maintain so-called healthy skepticism.
