Yes, there is a lot of fear, discomfort, unease, and apprehension to try many things. And if a failure occurs, or a mistake, then it amplifies and reinforces the initial doubt and uncertainty to try in the first place.

This is especially true when something bad happens, and people don't want to face the mirror of their actions and do something to correct it. There is also a lack of personal responsibility involved in those cases.

Too many people fear the negative outcomes that they create, or can possibly create.
