Dear my steemit friends.
I will be telling you the interesting stories about Seoul, South Korea. Last time I already introduced you "Interesting things in Seoul, South Korea". In this time, I'll add some interesting stories about Seoul, South Korea.
First, South Korea has so many Buddhist Temples. If you have a chance to visit South Korea, I hope you will have Temple Stay. Most of South Korean temples is situated in mountains. You can see a great view of mountains and rivers. If you are not Asian, I believe Korean temples look very exotic to you.
Second, Koreans was using "Turtle warship" during the Korea-Japanese War. The warship looks very special and unique.
Third, you can find Walnut Cake and Peanut Cake in many places of South Korea. Walnut Cake has walnuts and adzuki beans and Peanut Cake has some peanuts.
Fourth, SNU (Seoul National University) has so many graduates who have doctoral degrees from the USA. In the past, SNU had the second most graduates with US PhD. The number of doctors from USA has been decreasing, but SNU still has so many doctors of the USA.
Fifth, Koreans are crazy about TOEIC, which means ‘Test of English for International Communication’. TOEIC is made by ETS ( Educational Testing Service) of the USA. I think almost all university students in South Korea have studied TOEIC, They need high level of TOEIC score when they enter into a university, a company or even a government.
