RE: You Gotta Spend Money to Make Money

in #life7 years ago

I agree with your headline. I also just bought a laptop and it took a hard punch on my savings, but damn it was worth it. Having a machine that works efficiently, with zero glitches and quick processing time is invaluable when you have a thousand projects going on like me. Between my online studies, tutoring business and blogging there is always 10 tabs open, 3 background programs and some type of article or list in progress. I have heard so many great things about Apple, but I am not an Apple user. Do you recommend the switch Steemians? I use my computer to do basic admin, I just got into video editing, a lot of web search and writing.

Sounds just like me, a lot going on at the same time, and of course you can't shut any tabs because you'd be wasting time when you need them soon anyway 😝 Let's just say that I've never been disappointed by any Apple product, and I've owned a lot, but I have been disappointed by a lot of other electronics. Yes, Apple products are expensive, but they last a lot longer that any other. I often recycle my old phones to mum who now uses a four year old iPhone without any problems, while dad has had to buy three new windows and android based ones.

You know what, that is actually my mission. Quality of quantity and sustainability(not in a hug the trees way but with material items) I am deep deep deep in the Windows/Android game right now and you are probably 1 of the 50 people who have advocated on behalf of Apple. I think it's time to switch very soon. Thanks : )

Haha, the cult is strong with Apple products ;)
