Some people in other to protect their fragile ego, fail to ask questions when they don't know or when they are not clear about a particular thing. They dont want people to see them as "do you mean this guy does not know this?"
Some people honestly wish they can ask questions, but the fear of getting an answer they don't like or not being answered atall constrains them.
Some other people want to ask but are caught up in unnecessary assumptions. We assume a lot and most of the world's problems can be traced to assumptions. We actually think we know, but we don't know!
If we can only understand the importance of asking questions, then we would not let anything or any reason get in the way of our asking when we need to. It's better of ask questions from the start and know what's what.
Some of the importance of asking questions include;
1.It helps you to clarify your thoughts:
Assumption they say is the least form of knowledge, acting based on assumptions even makes a situation worse, rather than act based on what you think you know, why not ask? Asking questions can help you clarify your thoughts and give you more accurate information to work with.
2. It helps you respond better in any situation.
Asking questions helps you to understand a situation better. Instead of responding impulsively and out of control because of what you think you know about the situation, it's better to ask and find out the truth, this will help you to respond calmly and logically.
3.It can help you to boost your knowledge:
We learn everyday and no one knows it all. That's why I love kids, they always want to be on the know and will never give up on any slightest opportunity to ask questions. Keeping a question to yourself will not do you any good. When you get answers to your question, you gain knowledge.
He who ask a question is a fool for Five minutes,he who does not ask a question remains a fool forever.
Finally, you can never get lost when you ask questions and it can also save you from an impending danger. If you let go of your ego or any other constraints and ask questions when you don't know, you are wise!
It is also important that we know what kind of questions we ask. Some questions are really very stupid that it pisses off the hearer. So, if you don't know, learn to ask and ask the right questions.

Thanks a lot @reach.curation.
When I lived in England for 16 years, I learned to ask the weird questions. It was the only way to get the information I needed, after all. People didn't know that I didn't know unless I had the courage to ask.
Congrats! I found your post to be excellent and featured you in my Pay it Forward curation contest entry for this week!

Thank you for sharing this. It's true, asking questions could solve so many problems. If our actions were based on knowledge instead of assumptions, there would be fewer communication problems (as long as you're willing to listen to the answers).

Like they always say "It never hurts to ask" Now finding those right questions can be something else entirely.
I found your blog through @viking-ventures who featured you in this weeks #payitforward.
Thank you. Am glad you found me. And you are right, it never hurt to ask and most importantly, we should ask the right questions .
@kweenbrand as you know @viking-ventures has featured you in this week's #PayItForwoard contest.
Wonderful post and spot on. Too many people think asking a question makes them inferior somehow. Just like how many times have you gone to ask a question only to realize the answer as you ask the question? I have that happen a lot. That goes exactly with what you are saying about clarifying your thoughts. Sometimes we need that extra response to help us handle certain situations better. Keep up with the great posts!!
Also we would like to extend an invitation to have you check out #PayItFoward contest (soon will be move to its new home @pifc) We would love to have you join in. This not only benefits you but benefits the people you feature.
Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate.
I would see if I can join in soon.
Thanks for your article, which I have found after reading @viking-ventures post in The Pay It Forward Contest.
