And better mentor
Innovation is the life dynamic of societal improvement
Too many people suffer from an over abundance of theoretical crappola, spewed by instructors so caught up in unrelated paradigms that it leaves little time to actually experience what they spew.
In fact many standardized operating procedures thought to be reliable, are virtually worthless or outdated, in the ever dynamic and advancing actual demand. Look at the courses and information, taught at most classes and seminars all around the world. It has remained stagnant or "Standardized" for decades. This lack of experience (long since replaced by memorized theories) in our more dynamic and demanding society... always falls short andholds back true growth and especially innovation.
So how do you know what to learn and how to improve or innovate to help society... "Experience". You need to work in the real world incurrent methods, always looking for better and more efficient ways. To know what works and what doesn't, you must get your hands dirty and you are best off with a master of their craft helping them (as you seek these innovations as a side challenge inthe daily efforts).
The old apprentice programs werewhat help our society progress the fastest, with the most benefits for all. We need to get back to that system as opposed to generalized, standardized, antiquated educational institutions we have now.
Schools and colledges of old with be replaced with apprenticeships and "Do Tanks" (not think tanks).

That’s why I’m a strong believer in doing internships during college years to prepare us for the real world
I think when going the college route, yes that is a big step. Not only in education or skill development, but also in networking.
I fully agree - do and experimental (!) tanks has to be built. Let´s do it! Thank you 🙏🏻 for this thoughts 💭 in your post.

Yes and Steemit is far better at this than any other social media platform. The intercommunication, curation and authorship come together to propel the user to greater heights of understanding, skill development and success.
Thanks for your [email protected] your valuable suggestions for me.

The old way that ought be today.
True! Only to not get hurt, you need to know what hurts!
To know is to do and to help others to do as well.
Yup :)
I definitely agree with you. We need to get back to the old system
Great post, I watched a TED video the other day and it was a young kid who was homeschooled and was taught how to grow veggies, how to respect nature and basic life skills, it was amazing to hear him speak. He had such a different outlook on life and was already making his own investments. I totally agree that the school systems are outdated and it's time for a massive change and shift in the world to teach kids what is really important in life. Maybe, starting with how not to screw up your credit. Will never forget my first Spring Break when they gave me a credit card with a $1500 limit. What a wakeup call 3 months later.
