A lot of you thrifters and eBay pros are probably way ahead of me on this...
But yesterday I discovered a website that might prove to be another fantastic way to get my hands on awesome used and vintage resellables.
ShopGoodwill.com is an auction site that only sells things from Goodwill stores across the United States. There are lots of different categories, and I've only started to peruse through them, but I've found what look to be promising deals in the Antiques and Bulk Lots sections.
Apparently there is another site that Goodwill Industries runs-- GoodwillBooks.com -- specifically for selling off rare and antique books. Haven't checked that one out yet, since I haven't had a lot of success selling my own rare and antique book collection on eBay. But for someone with more knowledge of the used book industry, it might be a great tool.
Have you ever used ShopGoodwill.com? How was your experience buying, and then reselling? Do you know of any other online sources to buy things for resale? Let me know in the comments!
Auctionzip.com is King good will price is far to high I barely even shop goodwill due to this issue of not having a profit margin after I purchase something from them but once in awhile you can find really nice Tiffany candlesticks or some really rare Waterford but even that's incredibly rare Salvation Army though doesn't price things ridiculously high but auctionzip.Com is the best there's also a lot of private websites for estate sales that kick ass
Keep up the good work
Let me know if you make a good profit from something you buy there. I am sure you can find a deal, but the problem is every other reseller in the world is also on there if they wanted.
But yeah, some of the stuff on the Goodwill Auction site is really cool!
I make upcycled clothes and item for my photoshoots and then sell them. I use shopgoodwill.com all the time. I love it!
