Young, small, middle school-ish, and in COLLEGE

Struggles Of Looking Young And Small
Those awkward moments that happen when you are in College, but look like you are in Middle School.

1.) You get carded at the Movie Theater and buying nail polish remover.

I seriously cannot go anywhere without proof of my age.

2.) People don't believe you are in College.

No joke, I went back to my old high school to visit, and someone actually thought I was a Freshman lost. It does not help though that I am about 5 feet tall.

3.) Restaurants offer you the kids menu.

I am 19 years old, but somehow I am asked if I need a kids menu more than I should. I am 19, not 12!

4.) People treat you like a child.

5.) The wind literally carries you.

This actually happens, especially when living in a city surrounded by rivers.

6.) People underestimate your abilities.

I may be small, but I have sass and fire.

7.) Middle School Aged boys hit on you.

Flattering, but very very strange.

8.) You are Cast as all of the child roles.

Here in College, I am a Musical Theatre major. In one of my acting classes, I actually played a 3 year old for a scene. My teacher says that I could maybe play a High School student.
