Okay, today is going to be slightly different because I've had lots of other life duties to get on with, and well, that's what happens sometimes.
But I didn't want to neglect my regular readers from something awesome today, as by Jove, you guys expect me daily - or would you like me more than that? Happy to accommodate!
Anyway, today will be half me, and half of some of the best YouTube authors out there that help me stay positive. Why? Because despite what anyone tells you, there's awesome out there!
I'm sad that we have to actually look hard to find good, but the bad and negativity is force fed to us. Does that make you think, if only a little?
So let's roll out those damn feel good clips that just make you want to well up in a big teary ball of pleasure
Like this guy from fouseyTUBE:
And not forgetting BigDawsTV - he's always giving something or other
And this clip, this clip made me cry when I first saw it. Yes, I'm a man and I shed the occasional tear of joy - there's nothing wrong with that.
This is a TV advert but boy does it tug at those warmth heart strings!
Probably the best YouTube video EVER. If you can find a YouTube clip that's injected with more joy than this one I'd really like to see it!
Would it surprise you if I were to tell you that I scoured the internet for these regularly?
I bet now that I've listed them you can believe it.
How did they make you feel inside?
Good, right? At peace.
You may have cried, yes, but it was a good cry! And if you didn't I bet you felt good watching them.
It always strikes me as strange that I have to go out in search for this stuff to restore my faith in humanity,
And all I see everywhere else is war, famine, pestilence, horribleness, awfulness, fear, doubt, and speculation.
I think we as a whole concentrate too much on the problems of humanity, rather than what's already good about it.

A young girl asked me for a light for her cigarette a week ago. I'm an ex smoker. I know how bad it is when you have no light for a cigarette,
So I went and bought her a lighter.
There you go.
Have that one on me.
Why?
Because it fucking made feel awesome inside doing it!
Never seen her again. Didn't expect to.
That's what selflessness is all about.
So if you haven't done it already, I challenge you to do something awesome this week.

And expect no return.
You'll see. It'll make you feel good!
And go in search for the good in humanity.
I swear there is an absolute ton out there.
YouTube, blogs, Facebook, Twitter.
Check out what others are doing.
Find your awesome,
And BE awesome.
Stay well, friends.
I love that you are making a point to showcase positivity taking place in this world that appears to be so fucked up.
I dedicated my life over a decade ago to helping humanity and building a better world.
Grateful to see someone dedicated to showcasing an awesome life!
I founded the organization with the lowest carbon footprint in the country and amongst all the sustainable realities we accomplish we feed 40,000+ free meals a year!
I will follow and support your contributions to an awesome world!
Blessings~*~
That's feckin awesome - I'll be checking out you too :)
Awesome! =)>
Thanks for the support!
very nice, I really like
It is true - we need to seek out the positive content. The negative stuff is forced fed to us because fear is the most impactful human emotion and the media exploits that. Good post!
You're bang on. Negativity spreads 10x faster than any other emotion - and advertisers and media are the biggest predators. It sells!
Very good positive post!
Thank you :)
Something similar happened to me a week ago. I was just about to go to sit an examination and an indigent asked me for a cigarette. I smoke and know how it feels not to have cigarettes. I gave him one without thinking and even him asked to me for pay me that cigaretee. I refused politely and the men smile me. Then I went to my college and did the exham. I have not seen him again but the simple fact of help him a bit, made me feel good.
Exactly. Gifts don't need to be huge. A simple act of kindness will suffice
