There are viewpoints that are very hard to argue with, even though on an international site like this, not all will get your points as they all won't suit very well in every education system.
However, the bad part is in how many schools are just as bad as they can be. Sometimes it's no need to keep the schools up and try to fix them, but to tear them down to find and create something better from the rubble.
