Gunjou on Magmel will be anime
Shueisha announced today that Dainenbyō's Chinese manga Gunjou in Magmel (Magmell of the Sea Blue) will be adapted for an anime series. Below is the commemorative image of the announcement by Dainenbyō.
With animation by the studio Pierrot the direction is of Hayato Date (Naruto, Naruto Shippūden, Saiyuki), the script is of Chūji Mikasano (Tokyo Ghoul, Tokyo Ghoul: re) and the music is the responsibility of Yasuharu Takanashi ( Fairy Tail, Naruto Shippūden, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations).
The fantasy story takes place in a world where a new continent called Magmell suddenly appears in the ocean, and a new era of exploration begins. Explorers venture into the island to find previously unknown life forms and resources, but go through one disaster after another. The manga follows the mysterious young people who make their living as aid workers who help the exploiters.
