Which is the true meaning of life? And how to recognize and respond to it?

So which's the true meaning of life? Earn a lot of money and be successful? Or get married and raise a family? Did he sense that it can gain a lot of material goods - a good car, house, boat, motor, and other? Is that to gain a lot of friends, be popular and sociable? Is there a larger sense this amazing gift of life? There is something very deep in us that says that life is much more than any of these things.

Our lives are often may seem like a series of mini version of "concentration camps", when we find ourselves in difficult situations from which we can not go out and when you do not have at all, or have very little control over what happens to us. There are many examples of this: chronic diseases and immobile condition, pain syndromes, bad relationships, problems with children, awkward situations at work, financial stress, job loss, marital problems, weight problems, drug addiction or alcohol addiction, depression ... This list just continues. When you're doing well in life and when you are happy and satisfied, we question the meaning of life and not just the most important.

But in those other and often unavoidable and undesirable situations, this question comes into the center.

Equally during our youth and age, the question of the meaning of life becomes particularly important, but because of various reasons. Keeping ahead of him unlimited future and an immense number of options and choices, young people often wonder what is the meaning and purpose of their lives and what they should do - get married and raise a family, is to educate and build a professional career, you get a well-paid job, go on missionary journeys, or a million other possibilities. An older person who is retired, perhaps a widower, while watching how his friends and family around him die, probably also asks about the meaning of life - but for different reasons than someone who is young. The choices are more limited for him. It seems that those things that gave him the sense of slipping away.

So which's the true meaning of life? Earn a lot of money and be successful? Or get married and raise a family? Did he sense that it can gain a lot of material goods - a good car, house, boat, motor, and other? Is that to gain a lot of friends, be popular and sociable? Come home, eat dinner, watch TV and go to bed? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. But is that all? Is there a larger sense this amazing gift of life? For some however the listed things quite a lot, even if they are often most of the time does not even meet. Why? Because there is something very deep in us that says that life is much more than any of these things, that there is something beautiful and meaningful which is why we are here. But what is the point?

What about love and serving others? If this is done in accordance with the instructions of Jesus and as a part of love and service to God, the same can be applied. Volunteering or donation of their time in some other way to help those in need, is one of the most powerful sources of meaning and purpose, and it is also something incredibly fulfilling the person who practices it (of course, if it is done as an expression of our love for God and as a service to Him, not as an expression of gratitude to the one to whom it serves). The Bible is really true - all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who are called by His decision. And not some things but all things.
