Mindfulness: Find Peace With Your Inner Self.

in #life7 years ago

What are we seeking in our life?

Satisfaction, stability, peace, overall we can say that we want more productiveness and less stress.

We want peace.

Mindfulness serves a great tool to do so. It makes us aware of our thoughts, what we are, how we think and it can train us to think how we want ourselves to think.

The most complicated thing in this world is to train our mind to think the way we want it. And those who master it, make peace with their inner selves.

We can achieve 100% concentration in our work through mindfulness.

You will sink in whatever you are doing.

If we do anything with more focus, we can do it in less time and with more competence. Isn't it great that we can improve our performance and find peace in it.

When one knows his mind, he knows how to use it to do anything. But when the mind is disturbed with worries and thoughts, you can't do anything right, can you?

We can do everything more optimally, be it any specific work or just our daily chores if we are calm and composed.

How To Achieve Mindfulness?

In mindfulness, we become aware of the acts we are doing, and the thoughts we are having.

Like when you are reading this post, you will put all your concentration on this post. You will not think about anything else except the contents of this post.

If you can read this post without any distraction till the end of this post, you have reached an initial stage of mindfulness and enjoyed your present moment.

You have lived for a while in the present.

Now replace 'this post' with anything you do. Like exercising, eating, work or anything else, be immersed in it wholly, only then you will be able to do it perfectly.

Doing it in the starting is difficult, so you have to put your concentration on your breath. And you can do it easily if you practise it daily.

Concentrate on your breath now, take a deep breath slowly, and then release it slowly.

Count while you inhale and exhale.

When you inhale, count 1, 2, 3 to a maximum of 5. Repeat it when you exhale, count 1, 2, 3, to a maximum of 5.

Initially, you can inhale more than you can exhale. But it will be balanced if you practise it regularly. You will thus achieve a mindful state, a more conscious state of yourself.

Repeat this process slowly whenever you feel the need to concentrate. If you get distracted, do it again and again, but slowly. Don't push yourself too much or its effect will weaken.

Don't repeat this process more than 5-10 times at once if you have just started, or you will be fatigued.

You can also use a specific phrase instead of counting, like "It is a beautiful day", or anything that gives you peace.

Living In Mindfulness Daily.

By repeating this process daily, we can learn to do it better and for a longer interval of time. After a while when we have mastered it, we can do it while working, so to do our work more calmly and efficiently.

We can relax throughout the day by doing this and still do our work more competently, living an overall productive life.

Mindfulness will provide us awareness, productiveness, peace and at the end, the actual enlightenment which we are seeking throughout our life.

The more we can observe in the present moment, the more we can do things better.

Who does not want to live a peaceful and productive life?
