Yes that's right, it can't be described in a few words but we only need happiness, capitalism creates more and more things that we shouldn't want like perfume, jewelry, smartphones, things like that. What we need varies from one person to another but it's all about mental health and feeling you're enjoying life.

Yes people overestimate money, anyway, I guess it's an endless quest, if you dedicate your life to money you always want more
