It's a person by person thing for me. If it's family I'll try to work with them til it's proven to be pointless. If it's a close friend I'll have slightly less patience. If it's a lover I'll have more patience than with family. But with all if they prove to just be dense on something I'll walk away. Now if it's some rando...I'll either mess with them til I get bored or ignore them. No point talking to a wall.
