So I had a really pleasant surprise this week-end, I had the opportunity to spend 2 days in Bruxelles, the capital of Belgium.
I've already spent a few days in the city so this time I avoided the usual touristic attraction like the famous Mankenne-Pis
It's not that the monument in itself isn't interesting but let's be honest it's certainely not worth the attention it gets... Especially in week-ends where there are hundreds of people just in front! But there is ONE reason for which you should go to see it. Just in front of you there is this store:
You can get here the best waffles in the city in my opinion. And for only 2 euros you can get a rather large choice. My personnal favorite: speculos and white chocolate
For the evening I'll advise you this bar:
The delirium Village! They got the Guinness Record in 2004 for the larger choice in beers, more than 3000 different beers are available here. The choice is made through a fucking book to give you an idea of how large the choice you have is! The pub is on 3 floors including a huge cave, so don't worry there will always be some room for you even when you think it's full.
That's just a few addresses I'll advise to you guys, not touristic places and you won't get screwed by the prices if you go there. Avoid luxurious touristic places which have nothing special (but the price...).
See you there!
