Yes! Sending the wrong message might be one of the culprit for bad assumptions. Or we should not always assume and presume things.. sometimes we need to ask for clarifications.. hahahahaha..
Hmmmmm.. in our dialect assumption means paasa.
one good example is..
where are you?>
on the way!>
on the way where exactly??>
chee! Paasa ka! We are have been waiting so long and you are still on the way..

🤣🤣 Similar stuff happens here, we hardly take people seriously when they say "I am on my way" but I seem to never learn my lesson with that, I keep coming early...😂🤣
Hahahahaha ahhh you are one of those early arrival type.. well being on time sometimes pays off. It never hurt to be early.

Hahahah! Sometimes it does hurt — when you have to wait for far too long for the others to arrive...Lol!
Yep! It does gets tiring to be the first to come.. and you keeo waiting for them like forever!

Yeah, They really don't! We have what is called ~African time~~ Nigerian time here... And it's all about being later than the fixed time, about an hour or more later...🤣 People add on their this whenever they are inviting people for an event "No African time". But people never pay heed to that...🤣
