Once again, I invite you for a trip to the open-air museum in Sierpc. Today, the presentation of antique sculptures and their place of execution by amateur sculptors. They created an amazing collection and proved incredible talent.
In addition to primitive sculptures, you can see works showing a very rich imagination and excellent mastering the craft by the authors, surprising technical solutions. Most of the sculptures are polychrome, although there is no shortage of monochrome, or left behind and a natural wood color. In addition to the works of 20th-century folk artists, the exhibition presents antique sculptures.
Most of them are Madonna Skępskie. Many antique works come from the nineteenth century.
The collection is decorated with a fifteenth-century Pieta from Lutocin, 100 years older than a similar performance made by Michelangelo, and located in the Vatican.

No, this time our grandfather brother had a wife Krystyna and her brother was one of the sculptors' amateurs.He helped to find other great talented people ;). Thank you my dear :)

These are wonderful work of art! Those tools for working with wood are very strange and odd looking. How could they know the kinds of tool which were useful for sculpturing wood?!
Some are brightly colourful as well! The artists really put a lot of work and passion into their creation.
