One day I hope gift giving during Christmas doesn’t exist. I’m tired of seeing people stress to buy gifts that people can live without. Imagine we spent that time and energy actually connecting with people instead of materialistic items.
And the kids? The kids don’t need to be sucked into the consumerism cycle either. Teach the next generation to find happiness in tradition and connection.
Give in a warm smile, a hug, an act of gratitude, a thank you note, or putting the most positive energy you have into the world.
As I race to be the first person through the door at the store today, I realize we are sheep. We have been convinced by media and society to celebrate Christmas in the most robotic, systematic form.
Merry Christmas From My Family to Yours!
I nearly have the same opinion about presents. Most of the time you give trash as a gift because they already have everything they need.
That is quite accurate! Merry Christmas to you!
