to minimized is to maximized happiness

I just digested your post, i didn't know minimalism can be a good benefit to individuals, i have so much stuff on my room and every time i have new stuff, later on i'll get bored of it, and then buy new things that make me happy, now i realized that i've been slave from materialism, being contented and grateful is the cure from being sick from materialism.

Yes @cortexx, buying things can make you happy indeed, but keeping them when you don't use them will make you unhappy. Also, at some point you will find not-buying things will make you happy as well ;)

Nice, well done .. good tips
Great post from you
Thanks for sharing

Thanks @slimanepro :)

Thanks @slimanepro ! Happy to see you out here as always :)

Interesting perspective. Cut down all physical and mental clutter to free up your life. I disagree about the family perspective, I like spending time with them because you have so few of them. But I totally agree we should only spend time with friends that add to our life. The apple cutter example was good too.

@jfitmisc hey if your family are people you enjoy spending time with, please by all means do so. Yet some people feel obligated to do so. They don't like their family, or related family members and spend a lot of time with them anyway. This I cannot recommend :)

OK, I think I'll do that because I want to be happy! =D

You have no idea how happy this can make you for real :) you should look something up about it or read my more extensive post and watch the video once I will have that up, probably in a few weeks :)

Nice and real story keep up the good work big thumbs up and a resteem from my side best of luck.@markdeheide

Thanks @ismailadeel I'm glad to hear you like my post. Have you started minimalising yourself already?

If I possess less then I can also see more, and I completely agree what you... that we need to have less things, because we are being forced into too many things what we not need .

thanks @foxkoit, it really feels like a weight has come off my shoulders since I possess less :)

You are welcome :)

Nice post, i go with you...

Thanks @augraphy!

I received this similar advice last night.... This means I need to watch it...
Thanks to @markdeheide for this piece.... I've learnt a lot from this... You're blessed...

Thanks @adekunlecharles7 Such a coincidence you received the same advice last night :) what is the first thing you're going to work on minimalising? :)

That was nicely said. And true. I am probably 30 years older than you and you don't know me, and wouldn't enjoy my company........thought I would weigh in anyway.

Why would you say I wouldn't enjoy your company? I might :) you never know! @nananini anywayI hope you will find that by getting rid of stuff out of your life that you don't value you will have more time to focus on the things that matter to you :)

I will check out your posts and if you care to, check out mine. Could be we can enjoy each others company.
First thing I got rid of in my life was any stima about age. It is was it is.

I totally agree with you @markdeheide
This is what my family is doing and working and getting closer to our freedom and getting out of this rat race.
Great post

Thanks @joalvarez! :) Glad to hear you are working on this already, I find it so important! I hope your family will keep striving and creating more and more success :)

Haha is this some kind of lottery? That's so funny yet only 66% roi for me a bit too risky :)

Good content my friend!

Thanks @janolo I'm planning to do a more extensive video or blog on this topic soon :)

Just moved in to a new place and the first thing that I am learning is to be a minimalist, back to basics - easier said than done but am still learning to do it. Cleaned and reorganized my wardrobe and will donate 5 huge bags full of clothes to charity as a start...

@sandralouis yay! that's so good :) that's a really good place to start with the clothes :) Especially when you move to a new place you have all your stuff going through your fingers and you can sort it out accordingly! :)

too much informative .wish it helps the people.carry on dear.

I have been a "stuff" minimalist for years and can no longer stand going into others' homes if they are hoarders, or at least in my narrow definition of a hoarder. It makes me horribly uncomfortable.
I have also minimized my time on social media and in contact with people I truly do not care to socialize with any longer.
Becoming a "thoughts" minimalist is proving to be the most difficult but I think I can get there.
Great post!

Well @boboxer I can only agree. OMG the amount of 'crap' that some people save and display in and around the house is just astonishing to me. I'm so happy to leave their place. :P

Well, that's the kind of stuff we need in here. great content. Don't mind anout the bots thing, inside this community that's a way to spread the good content. I'm new here though, but I've read a lot.
Hope you the best man!

Thanks @mediaenthusiast :) Yeah I think the bots are okay as long as you don't post bullshit content :) Glad to hear you have been able to read something you liked :)

Great Video
great concept
the best things in life, happen to those who make the best out of what happens to them.
value what is important.

lovely

thanks @sirtamuno :) happy to hear you liked the video :)

@markdeheide thank you for the fresh insight on the topic, I've seen a lot of Instagrammers preaching minimalism but they only focus on the stuff part of it.

Mental - this is from a song, the singer said

People treat their heads like trash cans

i.e gulping down mainstream news.

The People part is so spot on, quality over quantity man.

Any activity that doesn't enrich us has less value hence it's disposable.

Thank you for writing this, enlightening as usual. Def. resteemed.

@micscrypt thanks! :) yeah just the physical stuff is not enough ;)

not even close, that's just the exterior.

Very good points indeed, minimalising physical things including other stuffs that go against your personal growth and hapiness will be helpful...upped and thanks for your posts.

Thanks @charles1 Yes we need to make room for new and better ideas :)

when my son got rid of things that he doesn't need out of his room, he found a good job. I believe that getting rid of unnecessary things attracts good things because we can get new space in our life.

@sakurasui yes, unnecessary things clutter our lives and minds ;)

We want to minimized almost everything and get rid of them for good but no one will try to minimized the earning profit lol kidding... we can sort out thing into specific partition mean devide the from a big portion of big thing and simplify them to make it more easy to deal... but not easy when some still living in hoarder style hard to get off or let thing out confuse over important part or placing them into the correct order to make thing look more neat. Taking in all the problem but not sure about solution..maybe thats some problem with some people when they had this hard to let go some of the thing that lingering in their head... I hope my comments relate to what the article suppose to be... I like it and it is one of the challenging task to discuss. Cheers.

Thanks @dylen good to see you again! :) Yeah of course we want to maximise profits haha :P But we want to minimise hassle, worries and expenses ;)

What a great tip! After watching your video it motivated me to start getting rid of things that feel like I have no more use for them. It has enlightened my mood. I can’t wait to tackle it more.

@orlena :) yes. The less stuff you have the more 'space' you have in your mind to focus on what matters ;)

Hello. Please follow and upvotes for me. Thank you very much

Hey @lamtruong474 I wanna warn you for posting 100's of comments like this because someone might flag you for spamming, and that could be not so bueno for you. Just have some patience and produce good content it will work much better than spamming ;)

I hardly ever ate apples, because I am to lazy to cut an apple. But since I bought an 'apple-cutter' I eat one apple almost every day. So one could say that an 'apple-cutter' may makes you live more healthy. :D

@ninoschnitker yes absolutely. However you also have little 'knives' in your mouth with which you can perfectly bite an apple without cutting it. Also, apples are, when not organic, the most chemically sprayed fruits, so make sure to wash them really well, even though most of the chemicals have gone inside the apple, this is what makes apples less healthy than they could be unfortunately :(

A apple a day doesn't keep the doctor away anymore, unless when they are unsprayed ;)
