I know that it's hard to find the balance of work and play while travelling, because that is what I have been doing now for a while. Maybe it would be easier if one had someone to share it with.
I wasn't talking about your work life balance but that of your potential guy. His work might not be taking photos of you. Traveling with someone would probably make it more difficult because of all the schedule constraints and conflicts it would create.
I work from home and if I did not have a family, I could be a digital nomad. While I might be able pull it off alone, having a regular travel companion who required me to assist in her work 10 hours a day or so would be completely impossible.
